James Patterson
Crawfordsville, Indiana 1858-1867
A silversmith and jeweler, James Patterson was working in Crawfordsville in 1858 when he advertised in the Crawfordsville Review that he had silver tea and tablespoons for sale in his shop “at the sign of the golden watch.” His shop was located on Main Street and he continued in business in Crawfordsville until at least 1867.
